A Streets Poem

Mike Skinner is back. And rather than releasing a shedloacd of free songs (as he did a year or so ago) he's posting weird cryptic vids on HIS BLOG. The below is the best of them and is genuinely quite thought-provoking and dark. He also let slip that there is a video for previously leaked Trust Me in the works. Phoenix & Daft Punk At Madison Sq Gardens

Now I usually hate dodgy fan made Youtube videos of gigs like the below. But this had to be documented and now ranks along Jay-Z at the Royal Albert Hall in my 'wish I was there' gig list.

I love Phoenix and love Daft Punk and even the screams when the audience realised what was going on sent a shiver down my spine. You lucky New Yorkers.

I CANNOT get enough of this song or video. The track sounds to me like Gary Barlow-style pop. And by that I mean pretty amazing. The production is spot on too and the vid was shot by Dave Ma in Iceland according to my friend and yours Dan Sully.

New Cee Lo

The Lady Killer album is getting closer and here is another taste from it. The title 'Old Fashioned' kinda says it all. This is classic Motown sounding soul, and who better to sing it then Cee Lo. Sit back and enjoy.
